Volunteer Testimonials
“Volunteering in the cooking class has been fun and so rewarding. The class is well run and it is great seeing the adult students learning new skills that they can implement at home for their families. They get so excited at executing the recipes and we all get to sit down together and eat our culinary masterpieces.”
— Shelly W."Volunteering with the people at Sequoia is so fulfilling --- and just plain fun!"
— Erin K.“I love volunteering with Sequoia! I get to spend Monday afternoons at Sequoia Social, hanging out with wonderfully charming friends while helping with art projects, games, dancing and just having fun. I’ve also helped with cooking classes and had a wonderful time there, too.
Whatever I do with Sequoia, I always leave with a smile on my face and a full heart.”
— Jan W.
